Remarks

The teachers of the college are very friendly, the admission process is very easy. You have to fill out the application form and if you get selected then you will have to fee the admission fee, then the college will inform you when the final admission process will be held.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty and student ratio is almost the same. The teachers in the commerce department are very good. There are lots of students in my college. There are 2 sem exams conducted by the college and one final exam is held.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 11220 per year

Internships Opportunities

TCS, Tech Mahindra and Genpact are the companies that offer an internship to students. I don't know the projects because I'm a student of 2nd semester.

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Tech Mahindra and Genpact are the top recruiting companies visited in the college. 10% of the students got an internship in TCS and 5% in Genpact.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think the fee is affordable for my middle-class family. They take 11,220/- per annum campus, and recruitment occurs during the final semester. The government provide scholarships to Sc/St Students.

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is Social. There are a huge collection of books in the library. Annual sports function occurs once a time in a year. College Conducts NCC, NSS campus.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
