Remarks
This is a good platform to approach the outer world. We have learnt how to communicate with everyone. My public speaking fear has gone away. And it has a strict attendance rule. The campus life is quite great at IEM. There is a CCTV camera all around the campus. The rules and regulations of the college are a bit strict but it is good for all the students. There is a regular morning assembly. Teachers are extremely helpful and easily approachable for clearing doubts. Besides all this, it has a very good brand name. Ample opportunities are offered to the students to develop the right skills and knowledge.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen BBA in this institute as the placements are very good at this college. Every year a huge number of students are given good placements who apply for it. The faculty-to-student ratio is also very less ensuring that particular attention is given to students. In every 6 months gap, there is a semester and the question patterns are very tricky. So quite difficult to pass but if we follow the classes regularly it becomes much easier.
Placement Experience
IEM offers a very good placement to all the students with an extremely good salary package. May students get more than one job offer. Top recruiters like TVS, Capgemini, Wipro, CTS, and Infosys such that many giant companies have job offers. In the recent past, IEM offered more than 40 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of students get placed every year who apply for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee here is 50000 per semester and since my course is for 3 years so it's a 300000-course fee for me. I did not pass my graduation so I did not get any job yet.
Campus Life
IEM has always been one of the torchbearers of innovation. NIRVANA a 5-day inter-college fest of IEM held on 8-12th April 2019, was there with both technical and non-technical events. There was the IEM Hackstack Innovation 2019 event to test the technical skills while giving an opportunity to give life to the ideas. Then there was the IEM innovation 2019. There are a huge number of books in the library and quite a good number of journals. Sports like cricket, tennis, and basketball are held organized every year for the students. There are special sports for girls as well.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms have beds, chairs and fans for each of the students. Every room is a four-bedded room and is maintained very properly. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are very hygenic. The meal given was not of a very good quality earlier but now it has improved a lot. Every day in the breakfast we get boiled eggs, bread, milk and banana which is full of protein. Every student who has taken admission in the IEM college are eligible to get admission in the hostel. We just have to pay the fees and get our stuffs in the IEM hostel.
