The infrastructure of the college is average.The canteen and hostels can use a lot of funds.A lot of activities are organised throughout the year.Still budget alloted for annual fest if increased would be great.Sports activities is somewhat okayish but still better compared to other colleges in IP university.The placement is best aspect of college management.

I scored 131 in IITJEE (Advanced). I am general category. So naturally I did not clear the cut off.I scored 147(AIR of 42599) in AIEEE. I got selected for a few colleges. One of them was a private institute in Kurukshetra University the other was Biotechnology course in Government College in Pant Nagar(Uttarakhand).

The first three years there are no electives. In final year (7th sem)we had to choose two out of the following three: Compiler Construction Requirement Estimation Techniques Mobile computing

Instead of internship training is done by most of the students. Only MIcrosoft comes for hiring interns. They come in 3rd year and provide internship for a duration of 6-8 weeks. The stipend for internship is aprrox. INR 50000.

This is one of the best aspects of my college. The placement offers are extended to about 80-90% of the total eligible students. The least package offered is about 3.2 lpa. The highest CTC being offered by Microsoft and is around 11 lpa.PayU offered about 7lpa +

The technical club of MSIT is Technocratz.It includes new bytes,new technologies.A presentation on emerging technology by college student and a guest lecture by eminent personalities/professors/students.The student participation is all events and societies is quite high.

Feasible, In times where private colleges may charge as high as 1 lakh per semester as tution and several other additional charges.The fees remains same throughout.The books are also given free of cost.The fees was 90,062 for entire duration except for 3rd year where an additional INR 2000 are levied as placement charges and are worth it.Total Fees paid in 4 years is INR 3,62,248.

The campus life is nice.Extracurricular activities like debates,cultural fest,technica lsociety, newletter are all available for those interested.The robotics society is good and the robotics event in our annual technical fest gets entries from top colleges such as DTU,IIT and NSIT.

The hostel rooms are a bit small and old.Personally I haven't eaten mess food but haven't heard much good about it either.

The senior students helped me a lot in placement related activities.We can interact with seniors any time as all students of on stream are on one floor.During the annual techno-cultural fest bonding becomes strong and they no longer remain seniors but friends/mentors who share their experiences and also some jugaads.Even now I can call some of my seniors and discuss my problems.They also conduct mock interviews before placements.

The exams initially were considered by us very hectic. But soon we became used to it. A normal college day was very chilled out only the night before exam was hectic.

The faculty of the college is good. The teachers for core/main subjects were good and if one wanted a broader coverage they woulds recommend some excellent ones.They also helped be to prepare for GATE. They also give reference for a day or two.
