The most important criteria for me to choosing a college was - Location - Placements - Extra-Curricular activities - Fees After doing some online research and then validating it through friends and alumni network of the college, I zeroed on this as this college had the perfect balance of academics and personality development. FEES structure is nominal compared to other IP colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers at the college are friendly and also strict wherever needed. Focus on studies and learning is the main focus for which extra classes and workshops are conducted in addition to the main curriculum. There were approx 60 students in each section which meant not much crowding. Most faculty are experienced in their specialized subjects thus helping in learning.
Internships Opportunities
we had summer internships from 2nd year onwards in most reputed companies. we also had industry visits every year to give us exposure to the working of the industry. There was an internship Cell in the college helping in the process.
Placement Experience
we had summer training from 2nd year onwards to train us for the corporate culture. We had a wide spectrum of companies coming for placement - consultancy, online e-commerce, BFSI, technology, etc. All students got placed which was encouraging at industry packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were constant for each year which is unlike other colleges. I found that other IP colleges had higher fees than us. Also, many needy students got scholarships which were good in CSR.
Campus Life
We had a lot of fun to balance our academic life thus making the 3 years go fast. we had our annual fest every year in which famous personalities/singers were invited Guru Randhawa, etc. We also had in house newsletter in which we had all the information about the colleges. There were different clubs and cultural and drama society which met and presented events every quarter.
