Remarks
I chose IITM because of its rank among other IPU Colleges along with its proximity to my residence. The admission is done on the bases of rank acquired in the common entrance test of IPU. The campus is really nice, great cafeteria. Also, the teachers are very good, the College gives ample opportunities for extracurricular activities as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum includes all the related subjects required in today's competitive world but syllabus can be made more structured. Having a BBA degree opens a lot of options, later on, I wish to do an MBA so it will help me a lot. The faculty is well -qualified (PhDs or NET qualified) and quite experienced and focus on conceptual clarity, apart from normal classroom teaching, they use methods like presentation conclave, quiz etc to upgrade students' knowledge and communication skills.
Internships Opportunities
The internship cell of College "Internware' does a good job in getting students internships with companies like uneako, sharekhan and a lot more. Students have to clear various rounds of GD, PI to get to be a part of internware and they also get an edge over other students at the time of campus placements. Internships are offered in fields like marketing and finance.
Placement Experience
Students have to register themselves for campus placements from the end of the second year of graduation, the placements are good with companies like Jaro, Capgemini, ICICI bank coming for placements offering decent package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is nominal for a professional degree like BBA as in many other colleges of IPU, scholarship assistance is also available.
Campus Life
The campus is really amazing with good infrastructure. The classrooms are air-conditioned and have projectors, computer labs are well-equipped. The campus also has a Nescafe and Amy's outlet. I really like the collection of books in the library, all latest journals like EPW, Yojana etc. are available. Every year, Fiesta is held which includes star night, it is a cultural event, we also get to perform dance and skits at various university events, the teachers are very supportive in that too. There is Cultural, Environment and Community Services, literary and debate committees coordinated by students with the help of a head faculty, the college's internship cell Internware is really good.
