Remarks

The admission process is through an entrance based exam and merit. 60% of entrance marks and 40% of 12th marks. For the best teaching institute, you can choose RIE among all the colleges and the most important and good thing is campus placements 100% placements.

B. A. B. Ed integrated course for 4 years .major subjects literature, geography, history, and education. Then taking about faculty everyone is an experienced professor's good at pedagogy and knowledge and content they know how to deal with each and every student.

Internships Opportunities

The best thing in rie college is the internship. We have an internship for 6 months and each semester they will divide this internship program into parts. From 2 nd year every seme we have SAP for 2 weeks and finally in the last 2 months internship in Jawahar Novaodaya Vidyalaya for a great and most important internship it gives very good experience as a well-qualified teacher.

Placement Experience

100 %placements with good package and the minimum package are nearly 3.6 lakh to 4 lakh and last year some students got a package of 12 lakh per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for qualified students. In the sense, those who are having an income of less than 1 lakh will get a monthly scholarship of 800 based on their entrance-based marks and category they will select the students for scholarship, and coming fees structure hostel and mess food fees will be high as nearly 30000 per year and collage fees and exam fees 10000 so nearly 40000/45000 per year.

The campus is so good and architecture everything is good and comfortable and nature is awesome in Mysore.

Hostel so good with fully equipped facilities and full wifi and solar hot water system and purified drinking water .. Per room 2 members

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.

RIE MYSORE : A student's perspective

I've applied to the some collages kerala for BSc Physics degree. I got admission in almost every college I've applied. I was doing BSc Physics in farook college for 2 months. Then the entrance result got published and since it's degree including integrated masters degree along with B.Ed i chose this college. Knowing more about RIEM

I haven't applied to any other colleges. The interesting thing about my college is the integrated course which gives 3 degree (BSc) in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and BEd in Physical science and mathematical science and MSc in Physics. A walk-through to the doors of RIEM

Admission through RIE CEE entrance examination to the 5 RIE's (RIE BHOPAL, RIE SHILONG, RIE AJMER, RIE BHUVANESHWAR, RIE NELLUR (upcoming), RIE MYSORE).
