Remarks
The college has very good infrastructure. It has good lab facilities. CSE department has very qualified and experienced faculties. The admission process is simple, need to fill an application, submit PU/12th marks card, photo and admission fees. TOCE is on the Hosur Main Road and accessibility is good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I preferred CSE because my dream is to become a Software Engineer. I also heard that the CSE department is good at The Oxford College of Engineering. CSE department has 3 doctorates and experienced and qualified faculty. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:15. The teaching method used is chalk and board, and digital mode of teaching using projectors. Term exams are conducted regularly and can pass the exams easily.
Internships Opportunities
Fame Technologies with 10,000 per month. Training on web designing, content writing and development was provided.
Placement Experience
From 6th sem, students are eligible for campus placements. Wipro, Infosys, Commvault, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Fame Technologies, Paypal, Huawei Technologies and many more companies. Highest package of 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest package of 3 lakhs per annum. 90-95% of the students are getting placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
No college hike in between the course. whatever fees are informed during admission, the same will be continued. Rs 940000 for 4 years of BE course. OBC/SC/ST & Defence category scholarship provisions are provided. On-campus placement facilities are good, and more students got an internship through placement cell with a stipend.
Campus Life
Oxford Utsav is the annual fest and Impulse/Ignus is the tech fest conducted in The Oxford College of Engineering. More than 1,00,000 books are available for all the curses and online journal subscriptions also available. Sports and cultural activities are conducted every year, both indoor and outdoor games are provided. Ethnic day, Rainbow week, Cultural day, Freshers day, Farewell day, Kannada Rajyotsava is also conducted. Students club-like Toggle/IEEE CS student chapter/ACM student chapter.
