Remarks

When I saw searching for a college to get admitted through CET, I came over to The Oxford College of Engineering which was among the top 50 colleges in Bangalore and was in the top 100 in Karnataka. It was nearby to my place too and heard good reviews. So I preferred this college and through CET I got admitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE out of passion and had no idea about programming as I am from a bio background. The faculties taught us right from the basics and made us understand and work. Faculties of CSE dept. are very good, they have complete knowledge of the subject they take, friendly and most important. They support and encourage us.

Course Fees: INR 62410 per year

Placement Experience

We get an opportunity in the 6th sem to attend interviews for our internship and right from the 7th semester, everyone has to attend placement. Pool drives too are conducted in our college and placement people take very good care and guide us. The majority of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for my batch was reasonable, and we can apply for a scholarship, the college management themselves take care of and inform us about the scholarship process in detail.

Campus Life

Our CSE department conducts a tech fest which the whole college celebrates, it's the most important fest for CSE students. We have an annual fest and sports are also conducted. Both the tech and annual fest are conducted during the even semester.

the curriculum is practical up to date and the assignments are project based that encourages better understanding. the assignments are also real world based that require ,the students, to undestand the subjects better. there are 3 internal test with lab tests include that test the student's knowledge in the subject

the eligibily might be from 3rd year. There are several companies such as capegemini hitachi patym dmart. 700 offers are offered. Highest is 25 lakh and average is around like 5 lakh. After the completion of my degree i would like to persue higher studies like MS.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

My kcet rank was 26k and in my mock allotment i got Dayanand sagar University. But I thought universities are not good and I should join colleges under VTU .
