Entrance Preview
My entrance to colleage was based on the marks of 12 Standard (PUC 2nd year). Presently there is Karnataka CET on whose ranking you get admission to the colleage . I chose this institution as its Mechanical Engineering Department was one of the best in Karnataka at that time .
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curricula was governed by the Mysore university. It was semester based four year course. We had to do a project and chose two electives in the final year.
Internships Opportunities
I did not do any internship. Joined Indian Air Force with in 15 days of getting final year results. Many major companies of India visit the institute to select students. You prove your mettle and you will find results.
College Events
College celebrates tech fest every year. All national festivals like republic day and Independence Day are celebrated with great pomp and show. Cultural feats are famous and students from other institutions of the state take part unit.
Fees and Financial Aid
All nationalised banks offer education loan. Colleage also provides some assistance to economically week talented students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni association is active and is taking keen interest I the development of institution. Alumni association meets regularly to review the activities and suggest improvements.
Faculty
We had one of the best faculty in the state. Most of the present faculty are trained by the old school of thinking and are very dedicated. The infrastructure is excellent and each student is provided with opportunity to carry out experiments with his own hand.
