Remarks
This is a respected girls college under calcutta university. I liked sociology and opted for it. The faculty was really good. I looked it up on google. There is discipline in this college. I learnt that from ex students. Plus this college is not driven by a lot of politics. This is what drove me to study in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
My syllabus was totally updated. The teachers at first taught everything very nicely and in an informative way. Slowly, they started to ingore our classes and paid more heed to the other classes. We would wait in class and the teachers would not turn up. Our syallbus also remained unfinished.
College Events
All year long there are many events, such as sports and cultural events. The freshers was a wonderful but the room accomodating the students was small. The college participates in other colleges fests too. The cultural fests are social which happens once a year. It is full of life. All the students perform whole heartedly. The management is really good.
Campus Life
The size of the library is moderate but it has a lot of informative books. The lab equipments are enough for all the students. No playground in the college though. The classrooms are big for some subhects and for others they are quite small. The journalism department has very good facility. The wifi in the college is only for official uses. All in all it is quite moderate.
