Anonymous's Review On Tamil Nadu Agricultural University - [TNAU], Coimbatore

It is a reputed institution for agriculture and it is a university that belongs to the TamilNadu government. While in other private institutions we cannot expect any offers for poor students but whereas in this university they provide some scholarships for poor students according to their academic performances. Besides, there is more number of activities other than academics like sports, NCC, NSS and also SSM. We can indulge ourselves in many activities, there is a business incubator in our institution which helps the students who have some business ideas, to make them succeed they give us a loan of 5 lakhs from the government. There are a lot of educational tours which is completely free of cost and also there is an all India tour for all final year students.

Our college provides many courses such as B.sc Agri, B.sc horticulture, B.tech food technology, B.tech energy and environmental engineering, B.tech biotechnology, B.S Abm, B.tech agricultural engineering etc. Basically, the syllabus gets updated once in two years but for the last three years, the syllabus has been updated regularly for each year. The industrial exposure is really good and they take nearly two to three industries in a semester and also there is an all India tour in the final year in which we can visit the industry all over India. Since I am a technology student I don’t know about the agriculture faculties but according to me all faculties are completely good and there are advanced lab facilities in all faculties. Biochemistry faculty is really an admiring one in our college

It is really amazing, it takes at least a year for the students to know the complete campus. There are separate buildings for every department with labs, there is a ground, there are a temple and a mosque inside the campus. It is very closer to the marudhamalai temple and also RS PURAM, the area where all interesting kinds of stuff are present
