Top University for Engineering in Telangana, more over an Government institution with very less fee and yet fully equipped with all the necessary labs and e-classes. The way professor teach makes it very interesting to learn more! The college is rated A+ from National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus is changed time to time, keeping the core and important topics the same they add more advanced techniques and unvonvetional methods while minimising all the scrap that is unnecessary. Lecturers are also as enthusiastic as students in accompanying us in the Industrial visits, they love showing us what they taught us in classrooms. Industrial exposure is very essential as they represent the practical problems the advantages of the advanced technology. Luckily our college is first amongst those who get to visit a lot of industries. The professors are very cool, they make us feel to learn more. They motivate us and explain how important the engineers in the modern world. I should mention Mrs. T Nagaveni ma'am she taught us material science, the way she explain things makes us see and think it in any material we come across.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship at BHARAT DYNAMIC LIMITED, Hyderabad. There's no stipend, but internship itself is of great value and experience. I worked on CNC machines, writing programs for machining operations. College must send a letter requesting to let the students carry out their internship to the companies. Luckily for it's quite routine for our college and getting an internship opportunity is very easy.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are quite high, many good companies visit our college. For instance Accenture has taken 80 students for their company. Many software companies like Congnizant, TCS, DURA and other tech companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata motors, ITC etc. visit our college every year. They usually complete all the process in the college itself making it much easier for students to not to travel anywhere. There's a separate cell for placements and everything is quite well coordinated.
College Events
The learning part is well planned through the syllabus, but college is not just about learning, is it? To bring out the innovative ideas from students Technical symposium is every year organised in the college. It include not just technical stuff but all the cultural activities. Everyone allowed to take part and present their technical innovations, management skills, business ideas and what not! Every student awaits for this big festival.
Campus Life
Our college is fully equipped with all the labs that are necessary and are in full working condition. We even have the advance technologies. High speed Wi-fi is everywhere around and internet is at our finger tips. We have a Technology Development Centre wherein high speed computers are provided to the university students with all the softwares. Library is such a lovely place in our college, everything is perfectly organized and the reading rooms are well spaced and very well ventilated for light and fresh air to come in from all the trees around it, such a pleasant place to read!
Hostel Facilities
I stayed in the college hostel, the hostel rooms are clean and are well ventilated. Food is delicious. They serve non-veg twice a week and boiled egg every night. Vegetarians can opt for the special curry cooked for them.They charge for the food you eat and must be paid at the end of every semester, they also charge for the maintenance and service but the amount is very low. Hostel are not alloted to everyone, one who wants to avail a hostel must be non-local resident i.e his residence should be atleast 60km away from the college. They verify these details before allotment of hostel.
