Remarks
I chose this deemed to be University because my cousin studied here and thr placements were quite nice but nowadays there's like very low chances of getting a job because very few company come to this university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is not so updated. Surely I am not getting any job on what the teachers in college have taught me. They teach from an easy to medium level programming and that too we have to mug up alot. The teaching is mediocre. We weren't provided with any kind of industrial exposer. Faculties are good but there are departments (btech cse, btech ece and law) in the library building studying on different floors so basically we don't have our own building.
Internships Opportunities
I did 2 internships, not through college. 1st was in ELS Typist where I just did some typing work using Latex language and some content writing. 2nd was in Bses rajhdhani pvt ltd, I learnt SAP CS there and I got that internship through my cousin who used to work there.
Placement Experience
TCS, wipro and some other companies reach to take students. I haven't yet given any interview but I know that the students who learn skills themself and have made very interesting projects and researches are more likely to get a job. The teaching is mediocre so if you don't study more yourself there is very less chances.
College Events
There used to be many events organised by the college but engineering department had organised just 1 Nerdz event which was quite awesome. Cultural and technical events are organised by the students within the IEEE and CSI membership.
Fees and Financial Aid
Moma scholarship is the one many students opt for. It's pretty easy to get if you have complete documents. There must be everything just what they ask for including domicile, income certificate and all other documents. Once they told me to bring passport copy instead of domicile but atlast it didn't work. It's very important to get the exact documents they want. If even 1 document is missing or wrong there is literally no chances to get anything.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is nice, very clean and green. But there are pretty disgusting washrooms with no water in flush and sometimes not even in the taps. Many times there is no water to drink we just had to buy it from canteen which actually close for 1.5 year in between.
