Jamia University is located in the heart of Delhi. I had heard the college life at Jamia is very vibrant. Commuting to and from the college is very easy. It has it's own metro station. Jamia is a very reputed university. And still the fees are very low. Overall, it is a great choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very well designed according to the current standards. The course material is very relevant to the information required in the market. Faculty members here are very supportive, and all professors have PhD in their respective fields. They provide a very good outlook and hands on experience of the course. They always try to share real-life experiences in their teaching methods. The professors are also very friendly.
Placement Experience
The placements in BBA are good. The placement rate of the college is around 75%. A placement cell has been recently established. Hence, the placements should be expected to increase in the coming years. The average salary package offered is 4-5 LPA. On of my seniors has got a great placement last year from a Noida based company. Companies like TATA, ITC Hotels, Snapdeal, Amazon, and ICICI Bank, etc, visit the campus for placements.
College Events
Jamia is a 100 year old University. Every year, we have an annual fest that lasts for a few days. In that we have all kinds of extra curricular activities- dance, plays, songs, food etc. For BBA and BCom students, there are regular seminars, MUNs and other competitions.
Campus Life
The college campus is really beautiful and very peaceful. There are many parks in which the students can rest and chill out with their friends. The hostel facility, while being affordable is very good. The library is open 24 hours for students. It is accompanied with big reading rooms. We also have a huge sports complex. Food quality and canteen services are really good, and we always get freshly cooked food. Free Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus.
