Remarks
College Brand was the reason i choose the college and referal check also confirmed that the college is good and also there was recommendations from friends and coaching institue. Also the infrastructure was also good along with the subjects and qulaity of faculty.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course in not upto the mark i think its equal any normal gov college which is excellent in any city. Its not woth the mony as the college fee increased to 350000 p.a. but the quality was not upto the mark aa said. The college has no campus and is just o the 7th floor there is no place out of the classes to develop network and meetup. The placement reports are highly fudged none of the big companies visit campus and being a part of placement cell i can say that the salary at a good co. Is not more than 3 lacs p.a.The college is way behind the DU colleges which are top notch ones and even NMCC and Mitibhai is better than NMIMS overall. I will not recommend this college if you want to grow your career in future rathee than doing waste of mo ey amd time
Placement Experience
The placements are not at all good. They have been placing students and make them sign agreements with co. Blindly irrespective of students choice. They are denied degree if they are selectes for co. But deny the offer later due to any reason.
College Events
It is okay as i have seen many local college are also upto the mark i this aspect Its just this college is over budgeted a bit Otherwise the things are very normal just like other colleges. The clubs are running out of funds in most of the cases and have ro ask for sponsorship for working
Fees and Financial Aid
Nothing of this sort of is available. Its pure educational loans for funding such a large fees in 1 go. There is grants or reliefs from college. The students have to take the burden of fees. There is no help from college even during the time of crisis
Campus Life
There are 1 library common between 8000 students of different college and wifi is equipted on the campus with a low speed and many restrictions which an be used only for using college website. The college lacks any campus except the classes which are too small for such a large batch The college is overusing the little resources for the humungous batch which is not a sign of good college.
Hostel Facilities
No there is no hostel facilities as such in nmims but there are sime tie ups qhich some hostels which are in very shitty condition if we talk about living there for 3 years its life in a hell. I will not recommend living in hostels.
