Remarks
I chose BJB Autonomous College because it provides co-education and multi-faculty teaching facilities in all the streams and has the honours subject of my interest i.e Biotechnology. Another factor which motivated me to join the college is that it is ragging free.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is very much updated with the core subjects distributed in a way which will be really beneficial for competitive exams. The faculties are really good. We have Navya Mam who explains tough concepts very sweetly to understand in one go.
Placement Experience
The placements and opportunities are specifically limited to computer science streams and self financing streams where students are placed in big companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Genpact.etc. For biotechnology students, offsite placements are many.
College Events
The campus life is exciting. Students involve in various cultural activities in the campus in Freshers, Farewell and Annual function. Many competitions are held for departments separately. Annual Sports is also a great event. The BJB cricket league is another attraction for the cricketers.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is slowly improving whereas the college library is very well furnished with lots of books to choose between including reference books. Wi-fi facilities are yet to be developed. The lab equipments are confined to important instruments but there is a need for replacement of some equipments and chemicals.
