Remarks

The college im studying has Good studies and facilites for the students. I choose this course so i can learn about business and to further try for mba from a good university. The colllege im studying is also well known in kolkata, and it is one of the best college for studying commerce and arts

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was very updated for this generation of commerce. Yes we were provide with a lot of industrial exposures. Tge facutiy im doing my course is very great for academics as well as other physical and sport activities. It is linced with calcutta university board

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

College Events

Our college holds a lot of festivals through out the year. One of the biggest events in the college is "umang" its held once a year and most of the colleges in kolkata participate in it. And apart form that this the college holds a lot of extracuricular activities throughout the years life many competitions and feasts.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is not as big as other colleges but it got all the modern facilities required in it with ac and good class rooms. Its has a sport club, and one footsall and basketball court. Library is also a bigone, and the lab is fullly equiped.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . THE FACTS OF BESC

I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
