Reputed brand name, one of a kind course which was only offered by IIM Indore, opportunity to join an IIM right after schooling. This course is interdisciplinary includes finance, statistics, economics, psychology, Sociology, media literacy and highly varied courses including dance, drama and public speaking which helps in the overall development of the student and moulds him/her into a complete person with ethical business acumen. The thing I liked most about the college is the work ethic which I learnt, the concept of peer learning and networking according to me is my most liked part of the college, and obviously, the campus fests too are added to this list.

The course curriculum is highly diverse. For the first three years, there is a mix of courses that set up a good base for management studies along with courses that improve your communication skills and physical well being. The course syllabus for the first three years consists of courses in Economics, Statistics, Finance, IT, Psychology and humanities, also Communication courses, Ethics courses, Presentation basics, Business etiquette, Public speaking are offered for the overall development of the participant. Also, the physical well being of the students is catered to by courses on physical education, Yoga, Music, Dance and Drama. Students also can choose from French/Spanish and German to learn a foreign language. For the last two years, the courses are the same as the ones offered in the MBA curriculum, the courses offered are in the core fields of Marketing, Finance, Operations, Strategy, Human Resources, IT, Economics and Communication. Also, students are offered courses for overall development through courses like design thinking, business communication, report writing, and many other workshops. The industry exposure provided is very high in this course. There is a mandatory CSR and corporate internship in the third and fourth year respectively, apart from this students get opportunities to take up live projects and industry visits during the course, apart from this, there is a mandatory Industry Interface programme in the fourth year in which students undergo a 5 month project under the guidance of an industry mentor and a faculty mentor.

I interned in the CSR department of HCL, and the HR department of Ashok Leyland and CPCL

Around 160 recruiters visited ranging from MNC's to startups. All the 578 students were placed, Profiles offered were generally in the management trainee to asst. manager role and leadership programs for the departments like Marketing, Sales, HR, IT, Consulting and operations. The placement process is very rigid and confidential.

Scholarships offered by the governments are regularly intimated through mail to the students and also students get an opportunity to avail scholarship offered by corporates like Yes Bank and Aditya Birla group. Banks offer education loans at a nominal interest rate as it is a tier 1 MBA school. SBI offers a scholar loan at 8.5% (without collateral) exclusively for IIM students. Other banks also offer loans at similar interest rates.

The campus infrastructure is top notch. The campus is a sprawling 293 acres campus located on a hill named Prabandh Shikhar. The campus is enabled with high speed Wi-Fi facilities throughout. IIM Indore has a two storied air conditioned library with books in each and every domain available. It not only is restricted to subject knowledge but also novels and books in regional languages are available. Also the library offers access to a lot of subscription based Online learning databases for free, this resource helps in research and assignments. IIM Indore has a state of art finance lab, computer lab and an incubation facility. The sports facilities available in the campus are incredible. The campus boasts of a two storied sports complex with a swimming pool that meets international standards. The campus has two gymnasiums with state of art facilities, also steam and sauna bath are offered for relaxation.

Availing Hostel accommodation is compulsory for students of the IPM course as the teaching pedagogy is based on peer learning and group assignments. The hostel infrastructure is very comfortable with a triple sharing room for the first years. The rooms have an attached bathroom, toilet and a basin. Each student has a huge study table and chair inside the room and a wardrobe more than sufficient enough to accommodate the students' possessions. Even though high speed Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, students are also provided with a port for availing LAN facilities. The rooms are not air-conditioned, but the ventilation facilities are very good with a lot of open space. The hostels have a badminton court to relax. Laundromat facilities are available in the campus and students also can avail a pickup and drop option for the same. Apart from this washing machines are available inside the hostel. The hostels are very comfortable. The post grad students are provided with a single room with the same facilities, only the attached bathroom facility is not available in single rooms. The rooms and washrooms and cleaned daily and are maintained spick and span.
