Remarks
The first and foremost reason is the tag of a central university. The MBA at Jamia Millia Islamia is ranked at 34 by the NIRF and it has a comparatively high placement ratio of around 7/10. Now, The truth is no Central University advertises 100% placement tag but Jamia Millia Islamia has a good placement cell that gets its maximum eligible students placed. Also, The average package offered here is around 5-6 LPA which sums up for a Good ROI provided the nominal fees of the institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is up to date with all the subjects and books being revised from time to time. Yes, the port visits were organized to wet/dry ports mainly JNPT in Mumbai last year and Tughlaqabad port.
Placement Experience
The Companies keep visiting from time to time , Zomato, swiggy , TCS, Consultant groups and many start-ups have recruited students with a good stipend. The profiles offered are generally Business development manager, Client acquisition manager .
College Events
The campus life is amazing here. Jamia millia islamia is a lively university when it comes to campus life. The regular meeting points, canteens , castro, maggi point( that every college has) come to life as evening approaches. The management and AJKMCRC fest is the best out of all faculties (as i have heard). I wasn't here last year and they got cancelled this year because of unprecedented reasons. Covid-19 being one of them.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is great. The centre for management studies in jamia millia is one of the best faculties of university with AC classrooms , a well experienced faculty, projectors and neat and well organized library. The sports complex comprises of cricket field,football ground,badminton and volleyball courts and the football team has recently won several trophies. There's no wi-fi facility though.
