Shaima Nishaat's Review On Ranchi Women's College, Ranchi

The college is autonomous and affiliated to Ranchi University. There is great opportunity for student to explore. Great number of faculties to clear all your doubts and questions. The college campus is huge and safe as it is a women's college. Great auditorium and events are held on regular basis. The course hold great opportunities for biology student.

The college follows CBCS system. The course comprises of total 6 semesters. Each semester have a mid semester exam. The college provide great exposure. The practical exams are conducted by externals. The faculties are amazing and understanding. In zoology department, Mrs. Swarnim and Mrs. Bandana are most amazing teachers. They are great knowledge to share and provide the best to their students.

Many IT companies visit the college for placement. Last year Swiggy visited the company for non delivery posts. The placement process is based on merit and personal interview. The placement cell is very active ans tries to call the companies in our college for placement.

The college organises many events on all fields. Many cultural events are held like Sawan utsav. Annual sports meet is held every year. These events goes on for 3-4 days. Many students participate in various competitions. Fresher's party is held by each department to their new students. Teachers as well as students take part in almost all of the events.

I have not availed for the scholarships. But my friends did. Many government scholarship are given to students like e-kalyan. The form is filled online and verification is done by college. Various documents like income certificate, aadhar card, bank passbook, Bonafide, etc are required to avail this facility.

The college have great infrastructure. There are two main buildings. The first one is Science block and second one is Arts block. The building are huge and have enough classrooms. The size of library is big. The labs have enough equipments. The college have a gym with good equipment.
