Remarks

Uiet has good faculty and good placements. One of my reasons for choosing this college was that it is located in Chandigarh and also it doesn't have state quota. Seniors here are very friendly, hostels are also well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is well updated. Faculty here is very friendly. They help alot, not only in academics but also in other issues. 90% of the teachers I've met till now are awesome. Miss Sunaina, was our CSE faculty in 1st semester, she is one of the best teachers here.

Placement Experience

You can't rely on campus placements here. You have to search for outside campus placements too. Companies that visit are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Samsung, Bharti Airtel, Infosys, Goldman sachs, Deloitte, Yamaha. 56 companies visited UIET in 2019.

College Events

Clubs of UIET conduct alot of events every now and then. Their main fest is GOONJ. To be honest, I've heard it's not a good fest to attend, due to pandemic this year the fest got cancelled so I haven't attended that yet.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is not that good. Classrooms are not that satisfactory and also no ACs in classrooms. Wifi has a good range here. Library is fine, as per the requirement, it's appropriate according to the no. of UIET students. Labs are also satisfactory, you won't face any issues there.

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
