Remarks

French was available as 2nd language. I could study a new language as a subject and in other colleges there was no option for french. I was not that interested in opting hindi as my 2nd language. French, being a new language for me, I wanted a college where french is taught. So I joined there for my graduation.

I was satisfied with the syllabus and teaching as well. One of my favorite teachers is Betty mam who taught me statistics ( which was my complementary subject ). All teachers where favourite for me. Susan mam, ursula mam, bindhuja mam, dona mam, anna mam, neenu mam, nisha mam.etc

Placement Experience

I have not attended placements as I was interested in higher education. But many of my friends have attended placements from several companies and they have told that they had a very good experience. I think more placements to different famous companies should be encouraged more.

College Events

According to me, I would say, our college is doing a fantastic job in case of cultural events. Our college has always encouraged students in developing their talents. They conduct several cultural fests at inter-collegiate level.

I am really happy about the facilities and equipments provided in our college. We had a very big library which is almost as big as a public library. Our college has provided all necessary equipments for students in labs

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

ST Thomas College, Thrissur - King of Placements and Academics in Kerala

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Our college has the best placement cell in kerala. Around 30% students are placed each year in our college. Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

The course is very rare and one of the important in the present scenario. According to the course they have to provide more details in the syllabus but they are not well prepared the syllabus .they have to conduct more field trips and need improvement in that . I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. Anyone who have completed 12th grade and has a aggreagate of 60% in cbse board are eligible for this course. After the cbse results are published, the admission form will be available at the college website. The fee for the admission form is below 500. The applicant should download the form and fill the necessary details and submit it online. After submission, if you are selected the management will contact you further.
