One of the reputed colleges in Kolkata (located in my city only). During my College hunt, I had heard a lot of good things about this college from my friends, seniors and relatives.So when I got the opportunity to be a part of this college, I could not deny it. My college's past records attracted me as well.

Shri Shikshayatan is a well maintained college. The campus is always neat and clean. The college staff do everything that is possible to keep the college premises clean and hygienic. The classrooms are also always neat and clean with adequate number of desks and chairs to sit and to make the students comfortable. Apart from these our college also has a Common Room, Cafeteria and a Yoga Room.These places are also maintained very well. Now, my college also keeps it's stand when it comes to the academic facilities that are being provided to the students. The college has professionally trained and experienced teachers who are very polite, genuine and caring in nature. They are very supportive. They always listen to our doubts and tries to clarify them in the most easiest and simplest ways as possible. Their way of teaching is also interesting. They always keep us updated with the current syllabus and also provide us with important information which are related with our course and studies. Apart from this, the non teaching staff of the college is also very supportive and always keep us updated with the useful notices and informaqtion on the college's website. They maintain the college portal and update all the necessary information that is required by the students. My college provide us with good academic facilities. Apart from these it also provides us with various inter college competitions of our interests. My college provides a platform for the overall development of the students. It not only helps us in our academic performance but also provide us with various opportunities to explore ourselves, find our talents and real interests apart from our studies. The college provide us various platforms where we can build our career and increase our creativity skills. It gives us leadership training courses, entrepreneurship courses apart from normal educational courses, to shape our personality and increase our future scope. Overall Shri Shikshayatan tries to encourage it's students towards a better future.

College provides placement opportunities in the final semester and it conducts training programs on soft skill development. But the number of students getting placed is currently less which can be improved. Top recruiting companies for Shri Shikshayatan are PWC, Deloitte, etc.

The college holds it's annual fest "SRIJAN"- To celebrate youth and their talent and giving us a platform to showcase the skills we possess and indulge ourselves in a healthy competition with the students of other colleges in Kolkata. college also holds annual sports meet every year along with various other festivals.

The college campus is well maintained, neat and clean. Classrooms are also spacious with proper seating arrangements and proper lighting and ventilation facilities. College Restrooms are also kept clean and hygienic. Wi-fi facilities are available for college staffs and not for college students. College Library is also spacious and well maintained just like the campus. Large varieties of books are available relating to our specific courses. Moreover, the books are properly classified according to specific courses ans subjects for easy access.
