Karthik Kumar's Review On CMR Engineering College - [CMREC], Hyderabad

actually I didn't choose this college on my wish.As I had secured a very less mark and got borde passed I got this college on the basis of reservation.I have choosen ECE course in this college as I am interested in both hardware electronics as well as my computer programming.

when goes to course curriculum there is lagging and anyhow by the end of semester it will be covered.The mentioned statement is applicable to only topper sections.Now a days there are categorie based on intelligence,marks,percntage.Faculties are damn cool and friendly.They teach us very good and alo some of the people with partiality are there.When goes to lab sessions we students are afraid of marks.Here comes the problem.Thse faculties link academics with lab sessions as they are easy to score.they tell no writing niotes,no listening,no writing tests,you will be sent out of labs.this happens every session and we loose our attendance and get failed.this is how most of the failed cases come in presence.

Here there is process called smart interviews where only few are selected lets say50/160 from a branch.only these people are been given priority for placements.These smart interviews teaches only about software and programming.the what about other course students.How about their career.what if the are not placed?

Campus life is too good with friends,academics and all other things.When comes to events we are only sticked to academics strictly.Only few of us like selected ones are there for conducting events.but other students who are interested are not at all allowed.When we go for a higher permission,they say only academics are here,non academic things are not encouraged.This is only dialogue comes from their mouths.extra curricular activities like sports etc and all as mentioned above selected people are been present.other interested ones are not encouraged.

I availed a scholarship from government basd on reservation.I feel like they need not avail any schilarship instead it is better if they don't charge any extra.there are no other scholarships and other beneficial offers given by college.Instead taking money on the name of events,activities etc.may be some of them are free.Even any Xerox related to academics which costs 35/- per head every student has to pay.This is the situation of the present students.

Actually we have a better infrastructure but they are unused.Here again comes irritating students and torture literally.See students study when they feel fresh and good presence of mind and in a good environment.But the faculty doesn't allow to on the fans as we students chit chat.they feel diturbed and again start disturbing students.If given work not done making the student to sit on the ground in front of everyone.There is a playground and a sports room where we havent step since 2 years of my joining.Lab equipments are not sufficient and old ones which doesn't work.When goes to wifi I think this is the only feature useful for students in the whole college.
