I had a little trouble in my first year when I had to stand in a long line to submit my fees. From 2nd year (2013) onward, the only mode of depositing fees is now restricted to online fee payment which saves a lot of time and brings up more transparency.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as guided by RGPV Bhopal which is available at their website to go through. Syllabus for the first year is common for all the branches of engineering, divided into two Course A and Course B. Some of the branches studied Course A while the remaining were given Course B in their first Semester. In the Second Semester, the 2 courses are interchanged into these branches. From, Second year onward branch specific subjects are taught.
Internships Opportunities
To name some power distribution training centre bhopal bharat heavy electric limited bhopal, crompton greaves mandideep, coach factory bhopal etc most of the training and internships were unpaid while for some the stipend varied.

College Events
Oriental Institute of science and technology celebrates a 3-4 day technical festival known as TechFest every year in the month of october. It is a national technical festival and students from all over the country come to take part in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as decided by the admission and fee regulatory committee of madhya pradesh. Various scholarships are given by the government to meritorious students and to those belonging to the backward class.

There are some good scholarships which I know my friends are getting benefit of unfortunately i am not eligible for any scholarship.
Campus Life
Balanced Gender ratio. However, branches like Civil engineering and Mechanical engineering do have more boys than girls.Campus life is full of fun, enjoyment, friends. Students can actually discover their areas of interest, expand their skills. Everybody is treated equally by the faculties and the management.Around 2-3 Workshops and 3-4 Expert Lectures in every Semester. Frequent industrial visits in 3rd and 4th year.Experiment kits, softwares in the lab are up to date.Students in almost every sport represent the college in nodals.I am a part of Institution of Engineers India and it is possible because of the college.
Hostel Facilities
The college has its own hostel for its students. I stayed in the hostel in my first year and my experience is very good. It was a lot of fun to stay with friends. The boys hostel is a 3 story building with a Common hall for watching TV, a Gymnasium, 2 tables for table tennis, Carrom and Chess. Mess is at the ground floor. The food served in the mess is of good quality. Many times the meal contained sweet dishes and other supplementary items. Timings are as follows: 08:00 - 09:00 : Breakfast, 12:30 - 14:00 Lunch, 17:00 - 18:00 Evening Tea and Snacks, 20:00 - 21:30 : Dinner.
Alumni/Alumna
Almost all the seniors of mine whom I have known are now working in good companies. I dont know much about how strong their network is but I do get facebook updates of them meeting at some place in bhopal or places like bangalore, pune etc.
Exam Structure
We have 2 Mid Semester(MM:20 2hrs) exams and a Pre-University Test(MM: 70 3hrs) before the main semester exam. The main semester exam is conducted by RGPV Bhopal.
Faculty
A masters degree in their specific fields is the minimum requirement for a person to be a part of faculties at our college. Most of the faculties are PhD while others are undergoing their PhD at MANIT Bhopal and other top institutions.
