Remarks

Its the best college to utilize our money and gain experience of various things and events. Placement opportunities are good.This college has the best Infrastructure. The best example of it is the BESC library.A good enviorment is needed for a good Study. Lots of Sports Activities takes place.Teaching quality is good and makes students to understand in a better way. Seminars are also regularly held to share experience and knowledge.

I have choosen this course B.Comm (Hons) as it would help me to enhance my area and skills in the Accounting Field. Faculty members are good and helpful in thier respective fields. They never get bored if we ask them any doubts during midnight also they are happily ready to share the answers.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

Average placement is around 60%. Package offered is around 500000 for students doing only B.Comm(Hons) but would be relatively higher if pursuaing CA too.Top Recruiting companies involve Wow Momo, TCS, Wipro, Airtel, Vodafone. More than 90% students wanting to get Internship got the same.

College Events

Everyday there is some events going in this college. Students have wide range of opportunities to take part in them. Most of the them are Crossfire Motion, Fagun, Art Competition, India Auditions, Carnival etc. The best for which the whole Kolkata waits is the UMANG.

Campus Life

There are Smart Classroms. There are 4 big Auditoriums, the best library among any colleges of Kolkata.It has also has a Sports Arena and a Basketball Court. Infact Infrastructure is the best here.It also has a Hostel Facility for outstation students

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
