Remarks
It's one the best college's which offers such strong faculty in Sociology in Kolkata. Also, it's under Calcutta University. It's really pocket friendly. It's a Government College so you do not have to think much about the fees structure with such strong faculty in almost every stream.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's pretty forward. We actually are studying the syllabus which is usually given in Masters. Also, Sociology opens numerous streams to take up on. Criminology, ngo, international relations, lecturer, professor, law etc.
Placement Experience
There is no placement I hope. As far as mu knowledge tells me. You cannot do master's here and it's not an University yet, so yes. No placement. It's s A+ College. That's all the knowledge I could provide.
College Events
We habe our own events. Like many events. Udaan is the main cultural event. Other than that we have many more events occurring throughout the whole year. All of the festivities are celebrated and we invite famous bands and celebrities over during our cultural fests.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes. Kanyashree. As far as I know it is available upto the age of 18 years. Our very honourable Chief minister Mamata Banerjee is in charge of that. That is a scholarship that covers all the fees for the students below poverty level and excellent academic performance.
Campus Life
It's pretty big. My college has 5 buildings in total. Each building for each stream. The library our hall our auditorium. Many facilities. Also, we have our playground. Our humanities block is amazing and refurbished.
