Remarks

I have known St.Teresa's College since my childhood. I finished my entire schooling years at St.Teresa's Convent School. Therefore I know well about st. Teresas college. It is genuinely reputed college in kerala. The vibe that we experience from this college is out of words. This college is about all festivals, functions, celebrities coming over. They give more importance to non academic acivities to showcase the real potential of the students studying there. But it does not mean there is no importance for academic activities. Majority of students who got admission there have good score in academics. And I opt for b. Com there because it was a reputed college in kerala and near to my home

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm blessed to study at our commerce department regular. Such a great department. There are 4 staff in total, in our department. I can't say one, but all four of them was really good, friendly, loving, caring people. The academic curriculum was moderately good. We have given the industrial exposures during the 2nd year of our degree.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college is visited by well known companies every year. Some of them are wipro, sutherlands, inosys etc. And this year 2 sudents from our class got job in wipro as financial analyst. The placement process is tough in out college. It is conducted through GD's and personal interviews

College Events

There is frequent festivals, functions, seminars etc conducted in this college. One of the main event is teresian week which last for a week. It is a mini youth festival conducted in our college where famous celebrities come. Partying etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college provide various awards with prize money and scholarships to its students. These awards are in the name of teachers who worked their before. And certain foundations also give scholarships to the students studying at St teresas college. I'm one of the them who availed it. And also department wise they give scholarships to the students

Campus Life

The infrastructure facilities they have is very upgraded technologies. Since this college is situated in the heart of the Ernakulam city they don't have enough space to expand their college. They have a good modern digitalized library. Free wifi for the students, good auditorium etc

i would rate it 3.5/5 it is relevent and covers most of the topic afterall add some more practical and real world could make it even better real world problems don't exist in silos coming subjects like data science or psychology with business prepare students for complex decision making

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

St teresas college Ernakulam, a good atmosphere and a good social environment

Anyone who have completed 12th grade and has a aggreagate of 60% in cbse board are eligible for this course. After the cbse results are published, the admission form will be available at the college website. The fee for the admission form is below 500. The applicant should download the form and fill the necessary details and submit it online. After submission, if you are selected the management will contact you further. Then you have an interview where the management and the head of the department will ask you certain questions which are very easy to answer.
