The Bhawanipur Education Society College, established in 1966, is a minority run general degree college running B.Com. B.A, B.Sc. BBA, M.Com and M.A. programmes. We are committed to imparting education that empowers the students for their future.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college offers a three-year undergraduate honours course in Chemistry under Calcutta University at BESC. Subject combinations on offer include (any two) Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science, Physics. The honours course in Chemistry gives you a thorough and competitive grounding in the fundamentals of the subject and prepares you for higher education as well as a diverse range of careers from pharmaceutics to food sciences.

Placement Experience

So far, BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell Draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, Ernst & Young, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG, Indigo to name a few.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Holistic Review of an Ex-Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though the bachelor of science is pursued by someone who wants to research and develop some idea to help the modern world. The primary decision was to contribute to the society like the great scientists who have done so before. The curriculum provides a balanced approach of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, theoretical knowledge from classes, assignments, homeworks and exams. Practical knowledge through the different workshops that are held in the college auditorium or online with successful men of the field who are brought as guests in them, from renowned scientists to great thinkers we have met a lot of them.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
