Remarks

It is Near my house.Very Reputed college.One of the Best college in kolkata. Moderate fee structure. I always wanted to do b.com and the faculty of the college is excellent. Timings are also very convenient. I get plenty of time after college and weekends are also off

It was all good the syllabus is now followed under CBCS system which lightens the burden.The teachers are very nice They use power point presentations and send pdfs which decreases the written work in class.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

I have no idea about thr job opportunities and placement but they do give you opportunities for small workshop. leadership and management's is also taught and certificates are given which adds up points in tbe CV

College Events

As the campus is not so big not everyone is invited for the programs in college only the participants are allowed.only during srijan the whole college comes together once in a year.Srijan is a blockbuster though

Campus Life

Wifi is very slow.Insfrastructure starts and ends in a single building. Library doesn't have anything outside the syllabus like novels or comics. No sports Facility for Students refreshment.only a common room is provided with 2 3 equipments which are broken.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Good for studying but should improve for recruitment

The application form is available on the college website and every other detail regarding fees and application date is available there.
