Remarks

Found good review about the college. Like good education facilities, top faculty management. Placement facilities. But courses fees is way much higher which is not expected being in a stream of b.com.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have been to industrial visit twice. It thoroughly explains the process. We are having 36 subjects each 6 subjects. Thought by top level faculty. We are having practical classes like tally, direct tax, saap, excel. Faculty- manta dey is one of the example.

Class Size: 210Course Fees: INR 310000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

It varies from student to student like how the student is going to perform According to their performance placement are given. Following every major steps Our college said that there is campusing arranged every year for the students to job.

College Events

Good. It arranges a big programs with huge number of crowds several times in a year. Popular face also come and join the students to encourage them. Sport is also arranged once in a a year. Pre celebration is there before every big occasion starts

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
