St. Teresa’s college is one of the oldest and best colleges in Kerala. Situated in the heart of Cochin, it not only encourages one’s academic excellence but also nurtures one’s extra curricular skills. Also they are the only best college which provides an interesting course with triple main - Literature, Journalism and Buisness Administration.
Course Curriculum Overview
BA Communicative English has an excellent and unique syllabus with Literature, Business Administration and Journalism as triple main. However the current syllabus is different from ours. And I’ve heard that hitherto second year they Literature’s is given more weight age. We had industrial visits to Malayala Manoroma to get a complete idea of how site work in journalism is. Atleast a month of internship is mandatory which is a good because it helps you get a proper understanding of the positives and negatives you may face as a professional.
Placement Experience
I’m not the right person to talk about placements. But many of my friends were a part of the placement cells and have received offer meters from Deloit, TCS amd others. For a course like BA Communicative English very few choose to work because the degree gains actual value with a PG or am MBA.
College Events
STC is a happening college. The campus is always lively either because of programs or fests or promotions held by films on the campus. The college opens doors to a wide variety of opportunities. No talent goes waste there provides you learn to grab the opportunities. There’s a huge competition talent wise and surviving there teaches you more than just academics.
