Remarks

This college was near to my hometown. I got cse in this college so I selected this college. Through jharkhand counselling I got this College. Getting admission in any engineering college would take me one step ahead towards my dream. This is the only college left in jharkhand under the affiliation of VINOBHA BHAVE UNIVERSITY. It is the one college which is directly managed by this university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are offered by the University comunity. The syllabus includes 3years of study and the final year is fully dedicated to project. The faculty of cse department is good. Teachers have a good knowledge about the subject content. hardworking teachers are there.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 490000 per year

Placement Experience

Only 30-40% of people gets placed on campus. The interviews takes place inside the campus itself. Placements are average not very great. The package offered are 3-4LPA by companies like tech mahindra. Since it is in a very remote area placements are not good.

College Events

Yes the college organises events not only cultural but also the events which add some value. Cultural fests are organised by different departments of the university.they are big events acknowledged by some chief guests. There is also an induction programme for students of first year.

Campus Life

Campus is beautiful. It is a place where you will find the crowd of students. Since the university has many departments. There is a wifi ensbled in the university. A central library is also there accesible by students of the university.apart from central library we have our own College library. Two labs are there CAD lab and computer labratory.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
