I choose to Narsee Monjee Institute for management studies because of its progressive curriculum which gives a good exposure to all areas of working in a corporate other than that being in the top 3 and first according to India Today for the best business schools in india to pursue BBA from was the perfect topping.
Course Curriculum Overview
I feel NMIMS has a very adaptive curriculum, it changes according to the current needs and tries on infusing the necessary topics related to the economy into the curriculum, along with this it provides its business aspirants to take up a specialisation in the 3rd year of their choice and has a very experienced and qualified faculty
Placement Experience
For a BBA graduate, it is actually fair because top companies come and recruite students and train them to be professionals. As far as I know the placement process is very fair and is not biased. The better we score the better are the changes of being placed with a big firm.
College Events
NMIMS has started alot of clubs and societies like montage, social responsibility forum ,E-cell, sports club and of course the Vaayu, the club which manages the Fest for NMIMS. It is great to be apart of a university were the students handle such clubs and run them without much intervention of the faculty, and also have able to sustain and grow them every year.
Campus Life
Given a city like Bombay, NMIMS does not have a lavish campus. All it is, A building with 9 floors out of which 2 a dedicated to NMIMS school of commerce. It lags behind in terms of providing it's students with recreational facilities, However it shares a library with the other colleges in the same building and as a good student canteen
