THE YEARS THAT CHANGED MY MIN

The college does not promote sports activities and also does not provide suitable funds and facilities regarding the same. There is minimal relaxation on attendance criteria and is meant to reduce the marks when one is busy doing something good for the college and himself that is above the academics and helpful in learning the real life. yes, its also helps in maintaining the discipline which is very good but whats the point of creating an environment when the students and faculty both are unhappy.

I gave Rajasthan Preliminary Engineering Test and got 16, 000 Rank in the year 2012. I opted for this college because of its reputation in Rajasthan. I was pleased by the discipline of the college and its serious efforts and programes that were carried out for the improvement of the student and their future success.

The curriculum was very alarming and informative as it was meant to improve the logical abilities and skills enhancement and empowering knowledge for the same.

The college internship was very useful as i got to work for the government organization ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization, CAZRI). We worked on digitization software and mapping tolls used for changing the old maps into new digital maps.

There have been many companies visting the college this year mainly the software firms like INFOSYS, Girnar, TCS, WIPRO, etc and also core companies for mechanical like TEGA and others. The packages varied from 1.5 Lac to 10.0 Lac per annum. Indian Army and Indian Air Force also visited for campus recruitment.

The college Events like Kalanidhi, Aaym, Aarohan are celibrated which includes the co-curricular activities like dance, plays, sketching, sports, athletics, drama singing and also display of the projects and its exhibition.

The fee structure is about 64 thousand for an academic year and extra 2.5 thousand for notebooks and register each semester. There is fee reduction on the basis of caste provision and few scholarship program's are also carried out to promote students. The hostel fees is 74-80 thousand per year.

Yes, loan facilities are provided at the time of intake of admission and various banks are also present to offer at varied rates of interest and benefits.

In my opinion the FEST are organized by the college administration and it is held Intra-College which spoils the enthusiasm and interest in them. The college must let the students gather funds and organize it by forming a committee with minimal interference thus providing them with actual experience of leadership and team management.

The hostel facilities are not very good but the food is monotonous but above average as compared to other hostels. It does needs improvement on various grounds.

The alumni are widespread and involved in various professions like defense forces, industries, civil services and also private corporations. Even we have few entrepreneurs who are leading their own companies and living their own dream.

The exam structure includes 2 mid terms that are carried by the college internally and one end term in each semester which is conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University. All the three exams includes practical and theory exam which determines the overall score of an individual student.

The faculty is pretty learned and has the combination of young enthusiastic teachers who are willing to give you knowledge and help and experienced teacher who provide their wisdom and experience from time to time.
