Remarks

I choose this college because I got 328 rank in jcece lateral entry and I want to choose CSE branch. so this college is provided by jcece lateral entry counseling.And it is present inside the VBU, and I think it is best college after BIT SINDARI because education mantra is very well.Professor and all teacher are good,and also college members are very supportive for every new students. Clear and clean environment present inside or outside the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm pursuing bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from this college. Quality of teaching is good, faculties are friendly, easily accessible and have deep knowledge in there respective subjects. Yes, Our curriculum is updated but I think it can be improved. As much I get from the college is not sufficient for a good job but it gave me a idea of what I have to do for a good job.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

As I am a lateral entry doesn't have much knowledge about this.but heard from seniors but no core company came in our college for the placement. We were very disappointed with our college so after passed out we are preparing ourself for government examinations.

College Events

All the faculties and staff aur friendly and supportive. Students are also cooperative in studies, sports and other emergencies. college is located in rural area but it's safe, villagers are helpful and friendly too.

Campus Life

College infrastructure is good. College provides all necessary infrastructure and facilities. There is one Sarojini Naidu hostel. Academic building, adminstrative building and every hostel is equipped with high quality WiFi facility. In academic building there are individual smart classes for each department, one language lab and many other well equipped labs

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
