great learning experience

Management is very good at dealing with academics but it should also concentrated more on campus placements and bringing more IT and core companies for campus placements.

I was interested in computer science so choose information technology which was booming out during those years.

The course curiculum was good. main core subjects for information tecnology were C & Data structures, JAVA programming, HTML language, Operating systems,computer designing,Labs, VLSI, Maths, network technologies, computer networks, database management systems and Lab practicals,and operating amplifiers.

Tata consultancy services,wipro tecnologies, Infosys technologies and solutions,satyam or tech mahindra now. were the companies which came for recuritment.many students got selected in campus interview. TCS have offered 3.1 lakhs package per year. satyam offered 2.8 lakhs package per year, infosys offered 2.9 lakhs package per year. wipro offered 2.8 lakhs package. Around 172 students got placed for both on campus and off campus together.

There were lot of technical events conducted every year which gives opportunities for students to expose there technical skills called techno fests. Cultural events are also arranged for freshers.

The fee structure during that time was Rs 24500 per year.it differs for management quota. There would be caution deposit as well during the start of the year for library management and labs management. Any breakage in labs and library would deducted from his caution deposit for that particular student. else the amount would be refunded during the final year full n final settlement.

Not sure about loans offered by college. But many students have applied for students loan in banks for there education not sure about scholarship. I was always topper in my academics. College management have given me curriculum text books as appreciation many times.

Campus life was good. in our CSIT we have equal ratio of girls and boys in our class. We had a dress code during four years of engineering for maintain equality of students. many workshops were held for each branch during technical festives, and ragging was highly monitored and eradicated.many secret students were there to take action against ragging students.

The hostel facilites were good. But hostel was strict contrlling students on every sundays students are allowed for outing. Hostel fee was around Rs 60000 per year for accommodation and boarding many engineering students prefer staying in rooms paying rents based on there living standards.

We had good rapport with our seniors for preparation of exams during 1st year and later for preparing for campus placements and during technical fests and debate sessions.

The exam structure was frequent as internal for 6 times for 6months were the best of four exams average marks were posted for external exams and semesters for every 6months keep the students motivated.

The faculty for core subjects were experienced but for other subjects freshers were allocated. The college mostly concentrates on academics and accepts students suggestions for betterment of academic ranks. It also arranged classes fro group discussions and logical questioning exams during campus selection to motivate the 3rd and final year students.
