Remarks

I was very much branch oriented. From my rank I was getting Bit sindri in third round of counselling but the branch I got was production. I was aimed at not comprising with my branch so I took cse in ucet. This branch could help me acheive my dream of becoming a competitive programmer.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our seniors and we have same syllabus. A little bit of changes is observed in common subject of ECE and CSE. There is not much industrial exposure here but internships may help in exposure. The faculities are great. They are very cooperative and teachers are very friendly. Mr Pramod Goswami is a teacher who taught us chemistry is great and very friendly.he is a PhD from IIT delhi.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 490000 per year

Placement Experience

The alumunis of ucet didn't get placed even.as this college is established in 2007 it is taking its all efforts to better the situation. Now placements are taking place. About 17 students were placed in companies like tech Mahindra with an average package of 3-4LPA. Since this college is in very remote area companies don't visit rarely. The placements are organised by the startup and placement cell of the College.

College fete is organised in the college. Our college comes under the guidance of vinobha Bhave University so the events are organised by various departments of universities. Just now a fest was organised by the MBA department of the university. Everyone gets invited and take participation in it.The winners get prizes and are promoted to next level.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is beautiful. Sports events are organised inside the campus premises and also outside the campus. Wi-fi is enabled in the college.it provided 35MB of data. Many books are not available in the College library but you may get it in the central library. The workshops,physics lab,chemistry lab,CAD lab are well equipped and newly renovated.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Life at BTU,Bikaner

I had applied for MBM,Jodhpur and RTU,Kota . The reasons are firstly they are more closer to my home town Jaipur , secondly they have better infrastructure, more educated faculty and MBM has its own mining site(I want to explore it). Also the environment of Kota and Jodhpur is more promising and satisfactory as compared to that of Bikaner. I did't got admission there because of my low reap rank or say JEE exam. Admission process is quite simple . I got admission through REAP(Rajasthan engineering Admission Process) which evaluates your JEE score(entrance exam for IITs , IIITs,NITs and GFTIs) and 12th score and gives a ranking .The eligibilty criteria for this course is passing class10+2. The college also provides direct admission on the basis of 12th score . During the admission process student must have to carry all the documents along with the passport size photograph . It is more convenient to bring a guardian or any member that is more comfortable for that process....Read More
