Remarks

According to my scores in JEE exam and the merit list prepared by ACPC, this is where I was getting admission. No other specific reason.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course syllabus is moderately updated. There could've been new concepts and ideas taught to us. Industrial exposures can be rated 5/10 as many times we weren't taken to relevant industries and sometimes the frequency of visits was very less. Faculties were top notch. They and knowledgeable in their respective subjects and worked really hard for students. Some faculties did superficial works but rest are all good.

Placement Experience

Did not appear for placements so, no specific feedback for placements. Though for engineers other than CS/IT fields, the placement opportunities in core companies are relatively less.

College Events

Great campus life. In terms of extracurricular activities and events our college is ranked high. There are various departments organizing many such activities which keeps the campus alive.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student
