Sivanath Sastri College is known for is academics and faculty. Its known for having a school-like atmosphere. The teachers are brilliant and they make sure we understand everything that they teach thoroughly.

The placement cell of sivanath Sastri College is really good. Many of our students get placed every year. Many renowned companies come and give opportunities to us. The college is really old so we have many alumni and the alumni networking is good.

The Sivanath Sastri College has its own non political student union. This union organises fests and other events such as founder's day and freshers as well as freshers. The campus of Sivanath Sastri College is very old but it has a garden in the front and it's beautiful.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
