Remarks

I love accounts and accountancy is my passion. I want to pursue CA so i will be stuck with studies so I took admission in a morning college so that i can get time to study for my professional course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Ratan Sir is the head of the department of commerce in our college and according to me he is the best professor. Other professors are really good. Some are friendly while some are strict. They are very particular about their courses.

Placement Experience

The placement itself of our college Sivanath Sastri is not that good. Few companies are invited and very less students are placed every year. We also do not have any facility for internship. We have to rely on internship from outside

College Events

The campus itself of sivanath Sastri College is not that good but the campus hardly matters what matters is the quality of education provided by the college which is amazing. Other than that we have cultural events as well.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
