Remarks
It is the ranked 1 state engineering college of MP. It has a lot of cultural and extracurricular activities. The campus environment is too cool. It another world inside the campus. The facilities here are exceptionally good. It has its sports complex, auditorium, library, hostels etc. It comes under DAVV (Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya).
Course Curriculum Overview
The course design is good. The syllabus is a little bit large. Industrial exposure is not so much. But its ur own ti finds the technical training outside the college. Well, some faculties are extremely awesome as Dr Rachna Gupta (Physics), Dr Ajay Verma (EI), Dr Shahid Khilji etc. I was an average student during my college time. Still, I say this college has a lot to give its students.
Placement Experience
IET is the ranked first state engineering college of Madhya Pradesh. It is an NAAC A+ GRADE college. Its average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum. The companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES, WIPRO, BYJU'S, IBM, AMDOCS, etc visit here and take a lot of students with them with good salary package offers. The average placement is 70%. IET ALMA CONNECT is the ex students group that refer to a lot of jobs for college students. Students of IET are working with the top multinational companies in the world.
College Events
The technical annual fest ' Invento' takes place every year. A lot of technical n fun activities held there. The annual cultural fest 'akshank' held every year. It is the biggest cultural fest in central India. People from all over Indore colleges come here n enjoy. Nikhil d Souza, Farhan Akhtar, Nikhil chinnapa, Papon had been here in the fest. Poetry, rap, dance performances, music performances etc take place. Goonj is the official band of IET DAVV. A lot of other literary and technical activities are organised timely. IET has a literary club, sports club, NCC and many more.
Campus Life
Free wifi, hostels, Central library, national level sports complex, It centre. Free wifi for all students on college campus n in hostels also. Hostel food is okay. The central library is present on the university campus. Its centre is also there for students which have a lot of computer systems, high speed internet connection. labs are not so good. But these are okay. All over it has state level facilities. It is the state university college of MP
Hostel Facilities
Had been in the Rabindranath Tagore hostel of University. It is the best hostel in the University. It has a warm, cold water supply all day. Has wifi for all. Has a gym, playground, tv room, pooja room, mess, recreation centre. It has an annual sports festival named 'Prayas'. Sports participants from the whole MP come here to fight for the titles. Hostel warden is really caring n disciplined 'Dr Govid Maheshwari'. He is also the TPO OF IET DAVV. He is really a classic professor of IET DAVV. The college has also its own hostels with similar facilities.
