Remarks
Inspite of being a private university, Galgotias University charges only 78,000 for BBA. So, this is the basic reason that attracted not only me but the majority of students to take admission in this college. Seconly, the University has employed some really good well trained, educated and experienced teachers and professors which again acts as a very strong factor. Apart from this, Galgotias has a good placement record for BBA. It provides an average package of 35,000 per month to it's students and the graph is increasing with the every other batch.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows a very updated syllabus pattern. Most of the time it is inspired from the Delhi University. Also, the teachers are quite experienced and friendly (except few). There are some teachers like, Mrs. Richa Shekhar, Mrs. Ritu Sehgal, Mrs. Shilpa Behl and Mr. Ashish Johri whom I would specially recommend to every upcoming batch of bba that once in their course duration they should actually choose such a time table that includes them as your faculty. Believe me, this will be a blessing for you to come across these phenomenal people. Lastly, I believe that the industrial exposure provided by the college is not satisfactory and output giving for the students. They really have to work upon the opportunities that are being provided to the students. Also, they should organise and partner some internships for their students from the very beginning.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunity department has to do a lot to improve themselves. I would rate the placement cell with only 7 points out of 10 or maybe less. Providing job opportunity in the last semester is not the only responsibility of the college. They should provide enough of internships to students in their starting semesters as well which will make them a multi tasker and the results would automatically be good lately. Also, the University doesn't have any stable alumni networks and the best company that came for placements is Infosys and that to for MBA.
College Events
The campus life at Galgotias University is not so good. If you're joining this college to enjoy your life, then this is not gonna happen. The every single event or fest organized by the university is so beautifully spoiled by the students and situation then becomes a complete mess. Also, the students are so apathetic they themselves will not participate in any of the activities and moreover will demotivate the other person as well.
