Remarks

Teachers here are exceptional, student-friendly and supportive. Visiting faculty members, along with young faculty members, make this department a special one. They are always free to share their invaluable knowledge and experience to the students. The way they guide the students is helpful for both research purpose and for industries.

1. faculty members were highly qualified and knowledgeable. Almost everyone was rom top ranked institute like IITs, NITs, Jadavpur University, Calcutta University etc. 2. Teachers were always helpful and clear doubts at any time 3. Relevant Course curriculum was provided to make us industry ready.

Our college is mainly a research lab, and the infrastructure provided for pursuing the project work is outstanding. If anyone wants to do the research work in the field of solar photovoltaics and gas sensors, then this is the most suitable lab in eastern India. Free Wi-Fi facilities and good classrooms also make this department the best. The hostel is good, and the quality of the food varies from hostel to hostel. Overall, it provides good food.

1. Infrastructure was good. Sufficient classrooms and laboratories were provided. 2. High-speed Internet with Wi-fi was available. 3. Library was really good. Too many books were available. We could collect many books and study inside the library anytime we wanted. 4. Campus was sufficiently large 5. Hostels quality was good. There is a hospital inside college campus. Many facilities with sports and games were available.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Good for studying but should improve for recruitment

The application form is available on the college website and every other detail regarding fees and application date is available there.
