Remarks
St Teresa's college is one of the prestigious college in Ernakulam City. And also it provides numerous of opportunities for the students to exhibit their talents and also to find their own abilities and skills. That's the main reason for me to choose St Teresa's for my higher studies. In addition to that, in the year of 2019 St Teresa's has gained A++ in NAAC, which makes St Teresa's unique from the other colleges of Ernakulam.
Course Curriculum Overview
St Teresa's offers numerous of course for the students, where they'll get theoretical as well as practical knowledge. They ensure to maintain high standard of education for the students. In the case of curriculum, they provide Eco trip in the second semester, industrial visit in the 4th semester. In addition to that, students have highly equipped library for any references and also high access to the internet. Moreover, faculties in St Teresa's are very well dedicated to their work and they clarify the queries of the students at any time. They use PowerPoint presentation, graphical representation, seminars to make students more thorough in their programme. In connection with that, faculties provide value education to make students more ethical in their life.
Internships Opportunities
I did my graduation in Commerce from St Teresa's College, where we've internship in 4th semester. I did my internship at Apollo Tyres Kalamashery. There was no stipend but it really helped me a lot to gain more knowledge on Apollo and their production process.
Placement Experience
St Teresa's provides many placement opportunities. I got placement from college to Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein as the post of CRO. And also some of my friends are placed in Wipro. Yes, St Teresa's provides many placement opportunities.
College Events
St Teresa's will surely provide the best days in your life, where you'll get numerous opportunities to exhibit your talents. St Teresa's is the only college in Ernakulam who encourage more arts. One of the famous event in St Teresa's is Teresian Weeks. Where you'll get much more memories and opportunities in your life. And also at Teresa's won many prizes for the youth festivals as well as intercollegiate tests.
Fees and Financial Aid
St Teresa's offers many scholarship for students. They offer grants for SC/ST students and there's post metric scholarship. I'm only aware on these two of them. And they are lot more scholarship where I'm not aware of that.
Campus Life
St Teresa's College is well known for their infrastructural facilities. We have high equipped labs for science students, well arranged library, efficient management, highly educated faculties, internet service, eco friendly campus, clean washrooms, canteen and cafeteria for the students as well as faculties and so on.
Hostel Facilities
I'm a day scholar. I don't know much about hostel in St Teresa's. But some of my friends are staying in hostel. According to their review I understood that, the hostel of St Teresa's is not that much good enough, because the food which is provided in the hostel is not that much good. And the hostel won't allow mobile phones after 8:00PM. However I not that much aware on the rentals and hostel rooms.
