Anonymous's Review On St Teresa's College (Autonomous), Ernakulam

It is one of the most renowned college of Kerala. I can definitely say that it is the best girls college in Kerala. It gives equal importance to both curricular and extra curricular activities. It also famous because of the no. of times the college has won youth festival. The college is famous for moulding young girls to women with aspirations and dreams. This college provides several opportunities that other coed colleges cannot provide. I opted B. Com because I love commerce and the B. Com department of our college is famous for the academic achievements they have achieved throughout the years.

The course is updated according to the new rules and regulations. All second years of our department should attend the industrial visits conducted by our department. This provides us with a great opportunity to explore the practical side of our academics. My class teacher ann ma'am was the best faculty in our department. Our department consists of four teachers. Ann ma'am was one of the teachers that were up to date on teaching her portions and also made sure that each student gets a chance to understand their teaching capabilities by making us do seminars and classes on our academic topics.

TCS, wipro.On an average 2-4 people are selected when a company visits for placement. Placement process is usually through an example and after which the selected candidates must approach interview. We have good alumni Association and each year we have meeting through which we are able to connect with our seniors and other members. Entrepreneur cell in our college conducts seminars and classes regarding entrepreneurial skills and opportunities provided by them. Even students from other colleges attend these seminars and everyone is provided with certificates.

The college provided us with several seminars, classes, nad other entertainment programmes. Our college conducts competition between first years, second years, third years and pg annually. Through this we are able to select students who are capable to participate in youth festivals. So this competition plays a major role in every students life as it is a great opportunity to showcase our talents.

We don't have much infrastructure. It is smaller compared to other colleges. We don't have the aesthetic look which most of the colleges in kerala has. The classes are always clean and we are provided with good technical infrastructure.
