Remarks

Since, colleges for pharmacy course are very less in india. In my nearby, its college of pharmacy is one of the most known and reputeed college. So, i took admission in this college. The college faculty is cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus have been revised and timely updated. Industrial exposure is not that much good. Faculties are good. Ms. Iti Chauhan, mr. Alok singh and ms. Snigdha bhardwaj. They are very good at teaching.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Many companies like Aristo had been visited our college and recruited many students. But from past 2 yrs. Job opportunities given by College is not that much good. Mostly jobs are provided are in sales. No production companies had been called.

College Events

Our College organises many events. Particularly in our course, our college organise pharma mindz in which various pharmacy colleges are invited. In general, we have fest once in a yr. Many celebrities are invited. Technically, our college organise many international conferences.

Campus Life

Wifi is available. Sports equipments are available. But we don't have any sports period. Once in a year, our college organise a sports event for whole college. Size of college is ok. Equipments in labs are not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In current scenarios b pharma is one of the best option to pursue carrier for becoming drug inspector or pharmacist. The frequency of exam is after every 3 months we have to give sessional exams followed by annual exams ( theory + practicals).

Decent College with Average Facilities and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Simple College with Average Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
