Remarks

This institution is among the top colleges of India. The atmosphere and exposure from this college is damn superb. The placement from thia. College is one key factor. The outreach programmes are also an interesting activity.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have chosen is of my interest and it's an interesting subject. The faculty of my department is excellent. Even the syllabus is according to both acdemic as well as job oriented. The exams, assessments all are conducted in a very proper manner.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes I did my internship at Regional METEOROLOGICAL centre Chennai. I didnt receive any stipend. It was a one month interneship program.

Placement Experience

Many companies visited our college for placements. Like infosys, zifo solutions, amazon, wipro, federal bank, RBS. One of our seniors started own company known as hitch biker. In and around Chennai. Our alumni group is very strong. Famous actors such as VIJAY, SURYA, VIKRAM ETC and Finance minister P Chidambaram.

College Events

The campus life is just extraordinary. I participated in all the cultural events not only inside but also for intra collegiate fests. Which was a great experience. I could learn a lot of new things, Our college also give importance to sports. Even I partcipated in sports activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they provide scholarship for students who achieves both in academics and sports I got scholarship from college for being the department topper. I received there gold medals along with 3000 rupees. I also received department scholarships too.

Campus Life

My campus is fully fledged with good infrastructure. It has all the facilities like labs, audiovisual rooms in each class, sports ground for different sports, Proper restroom, prayer halls, canteen, hostel faculties.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is a famous one and it is studied by many higher officials. The faculty is very good and talented, students ratio is 500:900.
