Sanjay's Review On RSR Rungta College Of Engineering And Technology - [RSRRCET], Bhilai

AIEEEI have scored 39 ranked around 2lakh. Actually I want to choose the RCET instead of RSR RCET at that time because RSR was new that time and by mistake I choosen wrong won. Because RCET is much better and older than RSR RCET. Now RSR RCET is also good.

As it was the new college that time so no company came for internships and I also not expecting any company that time. We got the chance to visit other companies to get the practical knowledge and training and we enjoyed there .But as the days pasts now few companies are coming to our college for providing internships. At that time it was new so you can understand .As of now few local means non branded companies are coming and they are not providing the stipened.

As it was new at that time so no good companies came to our college. But now few good companies like TCS, wipro, jindal, Accenture are coming with good packages like 3-6 lacs.

I our college many events organized in deferent Dept Like cultural management and tech fest. The events are of state and national levels also. College also supports financially to participate in other big events held in IIT IIM's.

The fee structure is decided by the chhattisgarh govt. College did not charges their own fees. The fees was around 40k per semester and if you are a hostler it will be around 70k per semester means for a year you have to invest 1.5 lakh and for 4 years you have to invest a total of around 6 lakh. It is less as compared to other states.In first year you have to buy a laptop from college it self which will cost you around 50k.

Loan is available from college for college fees. Scholar ship is provided to sc st and obc. First six students who take admission of every branch can complete their studies free of cost it is a marketing strategy of college for making students to take admission.

Campus life was good. Ragging is strictly restricted so every student can enjoy the college life with full pride. Many competition were being held from time to time like quiz debate gaming and robotics also. The events were usually inter college and inter state.Few big events also held at national level.One of our robotics project was also selected in IIT.

Hostel was good.You have to share a room with your partner.Breakfast lunch dinner all are good.Hostel fees is around 70 k per year which is not expensive.Hostel seats are limited.You live near the college as a PG also.PG rooms are available near the college it self with good rents.

Faculties were both young and experience.It was a mixture of both as few experienced teachers came from RCET. It was a combination of both young and experienced. Standard was average compared to BIT of bhilai.
