Remarks

I was always that student who shows her interest in accounting. I am that girl who wants more options in my career. As I always wanted my career which is related to Financing and I found this college fits perfectly for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

I found this course more interesting yet very convenient to score good marks in it. College provide decent guide and lectures on our syllabus and help us to reach our best destination. The professors are very helpful to every single student.

Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience

As I am in my first year of my college and I really have no idea about the job facilities, salary packages and startup program. So I only heard from my seniors that college provide actually good career option jobs and packages.

College Events

As I mentioned above the whole college reputation and they stick good on it. All events in our college like Social event, Freshers Day, Some festive event are very enjoyable and participants actually holds the whole college dignity.

Campus Life

My college has a decent reputation in Calcutta University and there are so many spouts, Dance, Singing, Drama options. They also created pages on social media. The college is very simple like those old schools but provide very usefull faculties.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
